The Vampire Diaries

Vampires, they are feared more than they are known, and hated more than they are understood. But they are here, amongst us, and they’re like us. That is the premise that makes for a love story between a vampire who’s lived for ages, Stefan, and an unsuspecting girl, Elena. And that’s where the story begins; a story famous by the name of the Vampire Diaries.

The love story is just the beginning of a much bigger story, which has a shockingly persuasive charm that stems from the sensual comparison between human and vampire lust for love and blood respectively! Elena gets dragged back into an age-old feud between Stefan and his terrible brother, Damon. Things get complicated, when it is revealed that both of them are in love with her, and it all owes to the fact that Elena resembles a girl they loved some few hundred years ago, Katherine Pierce! And all hell breaks loose when Katherine comes back and wreaks havoc in the city of Mystic Falls, and its innocent residents.

Forgotten rivalries will be renewed, old vows will be taken care of, the most vicious of enemies will rise, and chaos will reign. But will love continue to blossom in the wake of destruction? Or will it be the first victim, as light turns to darkness and beckons the return of the great enemy, Klaus?
